Pat O’Callaghan and mates riding 7000km across West Africa for Charity

Old Collegian Pat O’Callaghan (2004), his brother James and friend Sean Connell are planning a major bicycle trek in a good cause.

The ride will traverse approximately 7000km, starting in the South of Spain and ending in Ghana and is being undertaken to support Y generation against poverty (Y-Gap) projects in Ghana. Y-Gap is a young organisation who is currently supporting several sustainable development and poverty alleviation projects globally. In Ghana they support a safe house to help prevent child trafficking in the fishing industry. Here is a link to Y-gaps website if you wish to investigate further: http://ygap.com.au/ghana.

Timothy Driver

The Old Collegians Community was shocked to hear of the tragic death of Old Boy Timothy Driver (1985) in a water skiing accident recently.  We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
