Pat O’Callaghan and mates riding 7000km across West Africa for Charity
Old Collegian Pat O’Callaghan (2004), his brother James and friend Sean Connell are planning a major bicycle trek in a good cause.
The ride will traverse approximately 7000km, starting in the South of Spain and ending in Ghana and is being undertaken to support Y generation against poverty (Y-Gap) projects in Ghana. Y-Gap is a young organisation who is currently supporting several sustainable development and poverty alleviation projects globally. Timothy Driver
The Old Collegians Community was shocked to hear of the tragic death of Old Boy Timothy Driver (1985) in a water skiing accident recently. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
Peter Cullen
Old Collegian Peter Cullen (Class of ’83) was tragically killed in a Motor Vehicle accident whilst on holidays in Italy on the 28th May. The Old Collegians extends its deepest sympathies to his Mum Joan, and siblings Michael, Christine, Anthony & Damian. Peter lead an extraordinarily full life.
John O’Loughlin
John ‘Jack’ O’Loughlin passed away yesterday after a long illness. He was 49. John is survived by his wife Julie and their three children Bridget, Patrick & Daniel. The Old Collegians extends their deepest sympathies to Julie and the children. John was a wonderful supporter of the Old Collegians. He was a past president of the Old Collegians Cricket Club and a stalwart supporter of the Footy Club as well. [Read more...]

As you are aware, a list of names and contact details of Old Collegians is used for the purpose of communicating news and events and maintaining updated mailing information for the Virtute.
I advise that this information was made visible on the Internet in December 2008 when password and encryption options were inadvertently disabled. Access to the database was withdrawn as soon as we became aware of its accessibility.
The College regrets that this incident occurred and is implementing steps to avoid the prospect of a reoccurrence. It is hoped that you will maintain your association with the Old Collegians. Soccer pre season well underway
